Welcome to Heart of God
"What I tell you in the dark, say in the light, and what you hear whispered, proclaim on the housetops." (Matthew 10v27)
More About Heart of God
My Story
When God speaks to us, we are told to speak in the light what is told us in the dark, and to proclaim aloud what is whispered to us. God has spoken to me over the many years that I have followed him. I have often not known who to share his messages with, or how. On this site is a collection of dreams, visions, words and experiences, which I am sharing because I believe that is his instruction.
For a few months before these lock-downs were enforced, the Lord had impressed on me that something was going to come about that would leave us less reliant on our worldly system, and more reliant on Him. He had impressed on me the need to embrace it and go with it, because he was in control of it, and he warned me not to grumble about it, as the Israelites had done when they were in the wilderness. As the months went on, I felt a restlessness in my spirit of wanting to be free of the world and the system of the world that we are forced to be a part of during our exile. In April 2019, I had a dream of stockpiling, and I remained mindful of it until November 2019, when he told me it was time to start - so I started buying extras of this and that over the next few months and squirreling it away in my pantry. The next part of that dream had been three of us hiding in the woods during the night, which symbolised the lockdowns, I think. So when the “virus” started, and the lockdowns followed, I did embrace it, as a time to do what the Lord had called me to do. He had been telling me for some months to “feed the master’s household”, but I had no idea how to go about it – now, because of the lockdowns, I had time on my hands to start this blog. We are all gifted in different ways, some to preach from a pulpit, some to go out with a microphone on the streets. I express myself best in writing. So I’m using my time in lockdown to share what Jesus has been showing me, and to explore the Bible and share what I learn. I am not a theologian, just a believer in Christ. My hope is that this little site will grow to be a platform for others to also share, where we can encourage and admonish one another, always with the goal of increasing in the knowledge of Him and bearing much fruit as we follow him. I have included a little of my testimony in the first few posts, which explain why I am deeply devoted to Christ and have no doubts that He is our saviour. I have been a believer for almost thirty years.
