Divine Intervention

As a teenager, I went through an hormonal and depressed time and decided that suicide was the answer to my miserable life. I chose a time when no one was supposed to be around for two hours. I was sitting on my bed, razor blade in hand, when someone came home unexpectedly. They had happened to check the mail on their way home, and there happened to be a letter for me. It was four pages long and told me God was with me right where I was, that he loved me, and that when we don't walk in his way, we become hard hearted and selfish (which is what I was as I was about to take my own life). That letter told me to turn back to God and change my life. It was post-marked from a town where I didn't have any Christian friends or acquaintances. And the timing of when I received it showed me clearly that it was divine intervention. It ended off by saying, "God loves you and sees you. Think about it - he got me to write this letter to you. I don't even know you." It was a letter that changed the course of my life. I hope this will be an encouragement to whoever reads it, that God sees you, and he loves you, and he wants to change your life.
