We don’t know the day or the hour – but we know the signs of the times and the season. The fig tree is not only sprouting – it is flourishing. I have listened to 100 + sermons about how the rapture will happen before the great tribulation – I love those preachers as brothers and sisters in Christ, and I pray sincerely that they are right. They preach that the tribulation and the wrath of God are one and the same thing, and that we are not destined for the wrath of God. They reason that He who restrains until he is taken out of the way – must be the Holy Spirit and the church. But even if it is – the Bible clearly tells us when the event will take place. No, I’m not a crazy coot claiming dates. This is a simple study of scripture – and no one has to be a theologian to put it together. In fact, in the whole study, there is not one word from me – it is a chart of scripture:

I imagine that if Jesus doesn’t take us when millions of people are expecting him to – before the tribulation – that that will produce a ‘great falling away’. And it will give the demonic rulers of this world opportunity to gloat and smirk and laugh. If He doesn’t come when so many are expecting him – will he find faith on the earth when he returns? In my limited understanding, it seems if we want an idea of when He will return, we should look at the seven trumpets of the Revelation in relation to the events in the world around us?
