This was given to my sister Liz Eltze from God today:
Clothed as you are in my glory, stretch out My hands to those in darkness.
Shining light from your eyes.
Blazing compassion into each plight.
The horror of sorrow dissipating in the fury of my gaze.
My boldness covers you to touch each wounded face.
With my arms hold the sick, the blind and the lonely.
Majesty, setting free... prison doors...captives flee.
Destroying tombs of misery... With blessed victory.
Triumphant shout as marching out.
Chains broken shattered.
Encumbering grave clothes scattered, flying into new life and grace, as you see my face shining.
Darkness plundered reigning through you..
My voice thundered, arise newcomer.
Feet shod in victory scaling cliffs and heights before unseen.
The lost reborn, trained for battle now.
Darkness dispensed.
Emerging armed and crowned, ready in service to the King.
With heavenly throngs into eternity.
I think when I read this - do we even know what our God can do and how big he really is? What an instruction for us in these times!
